Great refresher from what I had at the academy.

 This training was similar to a 3 day marriage conference that I attended

 Very good course. Very informative and touched on many things that I have experienced in my nearly 25 years of law enforcement. A very good tool for entry level officers and putting them on the right course for proper and professional interaction with the public.

 This was a good refresher from classes taught in the Academy. The movie clips help to keep the student interested and brings the content together in ways to see what one should do and what one should not do.

 I’ve learned a lot in this course. Before I would just stumble my way through what I was trying to say. With these outlines I now know what I can do to make it easier to communicate with others and help in my environment.

 I am the lead Police Chaplain for the Bridgeton Police Department in New Jersey. As I talked to our Captain and we discussed my need for this course, I was initially unsure. But after taking this course I am grateful and glad I have taken it. As a police chaplain we are not always formally trained in these types of tactics. We often are trained in crisis but not in this capacity. It is courses like these that will help me and other chaplains understand the officers as well as how to better asset them. It is also so important that we know how to use our words to deescalate or non-escalate a situation. This is a great addition to my current training and I am excited to put it to practical use.

 Vistelar, First off, great verbal course you guys have put together. I learned allot from this verbal defense and influence class that I will be able to take with me whenever I go out on duty every day and where ever I go in my career in law enforcement. I am an officer in the State of Iowa in a small town with a population of around 1,200 people but grows in the summer of about 3-4,000 because we have a private lake where people live. I have been an officer for about a year and 8 months now and have already had my share of verbal disputes between people. In my conclusion about this course, it really helped me understand what to say and how to handle different situations on the job and in my everyday life. Thank you Vistelar.

 This was a great course and is not only relevant to Public Safety Professionals. It can be applied across the Airline industry as well.
